Protecting Grain Integrity: SRON's Innovative Grain Storage and Transportation System Based on Particle Mechanics Theory

In the grain storage and transportation industry, particularly for rice, owners face three main challenges: first, micro-cracks inside the rice grains caused by impacts from falls from heights; second, localized stress damage resulting from deep static pressure accumulation; and third, secondary breakage during dynamic transport. On November 7, 2025, the 2025 Belt and Road Trade and Investment Forum, hosted by the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC), was held in Beijing.
