     Recently, a delegation from the Lesotho Post-harvest Grain Security Technology Seminar—a foreign aid training program hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of China and organized by Henan University of Technology—visited Henan SRON Silo Engineering Co., Ltd. (SRON). The visit focused on technical exchanges regarding post-harvest grain security guarantees, the application of modern grain storage technologies, and the construction of international grain supply chains. This exchange aimed to strengthen the sharing of experience between China and Lesotho in the field of grain storage and transportation, promote the deep integration of China’s advanced grain warehousing technology with international grain security needs, and contribute Chinese technological strength to enhancing the resilience of the global grain supply chain.
 
 
     Grain security is a critical issue of common concern globally. As a nation in southern Africa, Lesotho attaches great importance to the construction of its grain security guarantee system, actively promoting agricultural modernization and the improvement of post-harvest loss reduction capabilities. Faced with challenges such as climate change, grain storage losses, and infrastructure development, strengthening the application of modern grain storage and transportation technologies is of great significance for boosting grain security capabilities and promoting sustainable agricultural development. By visiting Chinese enterprises in the field of grain storage and transportation, this seminar provided an in-depth understanding of advanced technology application experiences, offering an exchange platform for future international grain security cooperation.
 
     The seminar delegation first visited the SRON corporate exhibition hall, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the company's development history, global business layout, and technological innovation achievements in the field of bulk material storage and transportation. During the visit, SRON staff provided detailed introductions centered on the company's development strategy, core technology system, international project case studies, and smart grain storage and transportation solutions.

     During the exchange, seminar members focused on understanding SRON's double-layer insulated steel plate silo system, grain conveying systems, intelligent grain condition monitoring systems, and green, low-carbon energy application technologies. Among these, SRON's innovatively applied "Photovoltaic Energy Storage Green Power System" became a key focus of the discussion. By deploying photovoltaic power generation facilities on top of the silos and within available project spaces, combined with energy storage technology, this system achieves green power production and efficient utilization for the project. It provides clean energy support for grain storage and transportation facilities, reduces traditional energy consumption and carbon emissions, and promotes the upgrade of grain warehousing from being driven by traditional energy to being integrated with green energy.
 
     Through on-site demonstrations and technical exchanges, the seminar members gained a deeper understanding of China's grain warehousing equipment manufacturing standards, engineering construction capabilities, and green, low-carbon development concepts. They also further understood how modern grain storage and transportation facilities can enhance grain security capabilities through intelligent, digital, and green energy technologies.
 
     SRON stated that grain security is not only related to agricultural development, but also vital to global economic stability and the guarantee of people's livelihoods. As the global grain supply chain faces multiple challenges such as climate change, post-harvest losses, and energy transition, building a safe, smart, and green silo and transportation system has become an important direction for international grain security development.
