From July 20 to 25, 2026, SRON Chairman Wen Peng, together with Fu Yanjie, General Manager of China Chengtong Holdings Group Ltd., led a senior delegation to the Republic of Tatarstan and the Republic of Kalmykia — two major agricultural federal subjects of Russia — for a series of high-level business discussions. The delegation held multiple meetings with the Investment Development Agency, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan, as well as the Ministry of Economy and agricultural authorities of Kalmykia. Discussions focused on the upgrading of grain storage and handling infrastructure and the renovation of existing storage facilities.
