On October 26-27, the 2025 International Symposium on Food Loss Reduction was held in Wuhan. The symposium was co-hosted by the United Nations World Food Programme's China Center of Excellence for Rural Development, the Foreign Affairs Department of the National Grain and Material Reserves Administration, the China Agricultural Machinery Distribution Association, and Henan University of Technology. As a representative of companies in the grain storage and transportation sector, SRON was invited to attend the symposium to discuss the application of food loss reduction technologies and regional food security initiatives with representatives from various countries.
This seminar focused on core issues of grain loss reduction, aiming to promote the widespread application of mechanized loss reduction models and affordable loss reduction technologies for smallholders through a combination of policy innovation and practical implementation. During the conference, SRON engaged in technical exchanges with representatives from government agencies, research institutions, and enterprises from countries such as Nigeria and Mauritius, sharing SRON's innovative achievements and practical experience in grain storage, transportation, loading and unloading, and intelligent management.

Currently, SRON has successfully undertaken engineering projects in more than 40 countries and regions worldwide. These projects, fully integrated with the local climate characteristics and industry needs, have demonstrated excellent adaptability and stability, providing solid infrastructure support for reducing post-harvest grain losses and ensuring food security, winning widespread recognition from international partners.
