On June 21, the 2026 APEC China CEO Forum was grandly convened in Beijing. As the most prestigious flagship business event of the APEC “China Year,” the forum brought together over 300 distinguished global dignitaries from government and business circles, including leaders from national ministries and commissions, representatives from the APEC Secretariat and the ABAC Representative, as well as senior executives from JD.com, TCL, and Boeing China. Wen Peng, Chairman of SRON, was invited to attend the summit as the entrepreneurial representative in the intelligent storage and handling sector for bulk materials. Joining government and business elites from Asia-Pacific economies, SRON took part in high-level dialogues aimed at advancing coordinated green supply chain development across the region.

The forum was held under the theme “Openness, Connectivity, and Synergy: Linking the Asia-Pacific for a Shared Future,” focusing on key topics such as Asia-Pacific economic integration, regional infrastructure connectivity, digital innovation, and low-carbon industrial upgrading. As a member of the APEC China Business Council, SRON has long been committed to international multilateral economic and trade cooperation. During the forum, Chairman Wen Peng addressed the critical issues of global food security and the stability of bulk material supply chains. Drawing on SRON’s extensive experience across more than 40 countries and regions, as well as successful delivery of over a thousand intelligent storage and handling projects worldwide, he shared the company’s integrated technology systems and global achievements in intelligent storage and handling management, green and low-carbon infrastructure development, and cross-border supply chain empowerment. Leveraging core technologies such as digital twins, intelligent environmental control systems, PV energy storage microgrids, eco-friendly controlled atmosphere dust removal, and underground constant-temperature grain storage facilities, SRON has developed a full-chain EPC solution for bulk material storage and handling that delivers low energy consumption, high operational safety, and end-to-end efficiency. These mature and proven Chinese solutions provide strong support for infrastructure modernization, supply chain resilience, and low-carbon industrial transformation across the Asia-Pacific region. The presentation attracted significant attention from government officials and business representatives attending the forum.
This forum marked Chairman Wen Peng’s second appearance on the stage of a premier APEC business event. At the 2025 APEC Summit in Gyeongju, South Korea, he participated in international exchanges as the representative from the intelligent bulk material storage and handling industry. His invitation to speak again at this flagship forum in Beijing further demonstrates SRON’s leading position and strong technological capabilities in the global intelligent bulk material storage and handling sector. Looking ahead, SRON will continue to leverage its core strengths in green, intelligent, and low-carbon technologies, deepen its engagement with industrial chain resources across the Asia-Pacific region, and contribute to regional infrastructure connectivity and supply chain transformation. By harnessing advanced technologies and innovative engineering solutions, SRON remains committed to supporting the high-quality, coordinated development of Asia-Pacific trade and economic cooperation through the power of intelligent manufacturing from Central China.
