Project Introduction
San Miguel Corporation is one of the largest and most diversified enterprise groups in the Philippines, with its GDP accounting for 4% of the Philippines in 2020. SMC's five main business segments include food and beverages, packaging, fuels and petroleum, energy and infrastructure. SMC also invests in other businesses such as real estate development and leasing, cement, automobile distribution and banking services.
This project includes the design, manufacture and construction of 4 sets of 32 feed pellet silos and their supporting systems such as conveying and loading, silo unloading, electric control and so on.
At the beginning of the design, our company gave full consideration to factors such as the crushing rate when the feed is dropped from a high place into the silo, respectively, used wear-resistant plate lining processing and manufacturing of the sliding tube, and increased the anti-crushing device inside the silo, which effectively protects the integrity of the feed particles.
In addition, our company adopts automatic processing for this project, which not only improves the construction efficiency, reduces the labor cost, lowers the failure rate, but also ensures the sustainable production of the owner.
