Flour Steel Silo Introduction

Types of SRON Flour Silo

SRON's flour steel silo is widely used in flour mills, wheat and corn farms, food processing plants or feed production lines, etc. and can store finished flour, semolina, feed, etc. We have three types of steel silos for flour storage: welded silo, bolted silo, thermal insulation silo. Here are details about them.

Welded Silo

(1) With good sealing performance, it is water-proof and moisture-proof.

(2) SRON's high-quality welding process can ensure welds are smooth to prevent flour from accumulating and going bad because of long-term storage.

 

Bolted Silo

(1) It is convenient for transportation and construction, saving construction period and cost.

(2) Welding joints in the annular and vertical direction and painting with food-grade epoxy resin so as to ensure the quality of flour and the sealing performance of silo body.

 

Thermal Insulation Silo

Thermal insulation material is installed outside silo which can reduce temperature change and prevent moisture condensation in silo, ensuring the quality of flour.

The thermal insulation silo is generally divided into three layers:

1. The first layer is the inner silo wall, the inner wall is smooth without steps or flanges, which is convenient for discharging flour;

2. The second layer is the thermal insulation layer, which adopts high-quality thermal insulation materials, and has excellent thermal insulation performance. In order to improve the thermal insulation effect of the silo body,a double-layer thermal insulation structure can be realized, with little increase in cost.

3. The third layer is color steel sheets or galvanized sheets, which have high strength, strong corrosion resistance, effective wind, rain, sun protection, and long service life.
